What you will do

• Lead detection and response improvements, optimizing monitoring, alerting, and incident processes.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on security practices and professional development.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for escalated security incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate security into architecture and development.
• Automate security tasks and optimize tools like SIEMs and scanners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent + 5+ years in security engineering/blue team operations
• Deep knowledge of threats, incident response, cybersecurity standards, OS/network hardening (Windows/macOS/Linux).
• Experience with security tools: IDS, DLP, SIEM, MFA, WAF, vulnerability scanners.
• Cloud/IaC: AWS best practices, Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation.
• Automation/scripting skills; application security, web protocols, email security (SPF/DKIM/DMARC).
