TL;DR

Senior Analyst (Asia & Emerging Markets): Conducting fundamental equity analysis of companies across sectors and geographies with an accent on quantitative modelling, valuation, and integration of macro-economic factors. Focus on generating differentiated investment ideas, assessing risks and opportunities, and presenting insights to support conviction-based portfolios.

Location: Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire (hybrid: at least four full days per week in office)

What you will do

• Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative company analysis, including financial modelling and valuation across industries.
• Generate and develop new investment ideas aligned with team philosophy and portfolio needs.
• Integrate macro, political, economic, sector, and industry factors into research conclusions.
• Present investment ideas persuasively to stakeholders, lead company meetings, and engage with clients and partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with company management, brokers, and industry contacts.
• Use investment platforms like Bloomberg and FactSet effectively.

Requirements

• Significant experience in fundamental equity research, investment analysis, or related buy-side/sell-side role.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and accounting skills.
• Proven ability to generate and articulate differentiated investment ideas.
• Confidence engaging with senior management and external stakeholders.
• Degree or equivalent; pursuing or completed IMC, CFA, or similar qualifications.
• Intellectual curiosity, commercial awareness, collaborative mindset, and strong judgment.
