What you will do

• Perform functional testing on PCB assemblies using test fixtures and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair defective boards to the component level using schematics.
• Document failure modes, repair actions, and test results in logs or databases.
• Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers for diagnostics.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring failures.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to communicate findings.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electronics, Telecommunication Technology, or a relevant engineering field.
• 2+ years of experience testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies at the board level.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit principles.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and PCB layout drawings.
• Hands-on experience with soldering, desoldering, and rework of electronic components.
• Experience using test instruments such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/7721 standards.
• Experience in contract manufacturing or high-mix, low-volume environments.
• Familiarity with automated test systems or boundary scan tools.
• Experience working with RF or high-speed digital circuits.
