What you will do

• Design and develop core platform components for infrastructure orchestration, provisioning, and lifecycle management.
• Build robust APIs, services, and control planes abstracting VMs, Kubernetes, and bare metal environments.
• Translate customer usage patterns into impactful product requirements and features.
• Create automation and internal tooling to eliminate manual operational work.
• Enhance platform-level reliability, performance, and observability through durable improvements.
• Collaborate on architectural evolution and define ownership boundaries between platform and customer solutions.

Requirements

• Must be based in North America.
• 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Platform, or Backend Engineering.
• Deep understanding of Linux, networking, storage, and distributed systems.
• Proven expertise with Kubernetes, VMs, or bare-metal environments.
• Advanced skills in Python, Go, or similar for building production-grade APIs.
• Extensive experience with IaC and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm).

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with GPU or AI infrastructure.
• Experience with control-plane or orchestration systems.
• Background in architecting multi-tenant systems.
• Early-stage startup experience.
• Strong technical writing and design documentation skills.
