What you will do

• Ship production-grade backend and frontend features for member and provider flows using React, TypeScript, APIs, and data layers.
• Own features end-to-end from spec to deploy and monitor, handling complex state, permissions, and edge cases.
• Build and maintain system hygiene including instrumentation, dashboards, alerts, CI/CD, code reviews, and production debugging.
• Design and implement AI-powered workflows with tool calling, structured outputs, RAG, evals, tracing, prompt versioning, and guardrails.
• Operate workflow and agent flows using orchestration like Temporal or Airflow, with retries, idempotency, async queues, and failure handling.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineers to deliver scalable healthcare products.

Requirements

• Strong experience building consumer-grade backend applications.
• Advanced proficiency with React and TypeScript.
• Experience building and maintaining backend APIs and data flows.
• Proven ability to own features end-to-end in production.
• Strong understanding of systems reliability, observability, and operational debugging.
• Experience with modern LLM tooling including tool calling, RAG, structured outputs, tracing, and evals.
• Comfort with asynchronous systems, job queues, retries, and orchestration patterns.
• Strong product mindset balancing speed, quality, and impact.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, healthtech, or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration frameworks like Temporal, Dagster, or Airflow.
• Prior experience building AI-driven user-facing products.
• Exposure to data instrumentation, metrics, and monitoring at scale.
