Salary: $125,000 - $140,000

What you will do

• Assess, plan, and execute workload migrations to the AWS platform using tools like Migration Hub (MGN) and Database Migration Service (DMS).
• Design and deploy scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and cost utilization.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to client cloud engineers during AWS adoption.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement access controls, encryption, and threat detection.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a technical specialist and 4-7 years of experience developing AWS cloud infrastructure.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS MGN, DMS, and Cloud Migration Services.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification is required.
• Ability to work within the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone.

Nice to have

• Advanced AWS Certifications: DevOps Engineer Professional, Advanced Networking, SysOps Administrator, or Security Specialty.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and VMware hosted Virtual Machine Infrastructure.
• Knowledge of VPCs, subnets, load balancers, and DNS.
• Experience with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum SDLC methodologies.
