What you will do
- Collaborate with Monitor engineering, Technical Ops, Security, and Support to enhance CI/CD, build/release processes, infrastructure automation, and operational visibility.
- Provision and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and AWS core services including IAM and security best practices.
- Address on-premises delivery needs: robust packaging, reliable upgrade paths, and well-tested release processes.
- Contribute to Redgate's wider DevOps capability by sharing practices, aligning standards, and providing support across product areas.
- Coach engineering teams, enable self-service, and improve engineering culture.
Requirements
- Commercial experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE or similar role with track record of improving production delivery systems.
- Strong experience designing, operating, and improving CI/CD pipelines, build systems, branching strategies, and fast feedback loops.
- Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (ideally Terraform) and AWS services, IAM, security best practices.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, C#).
- Expertise in operational visibility: metrics, logging, alerting, dashboards for diagnosis and decisions.
- Enabler mindset: coach teams, communicate across stakeholders, navigate complex problems.
