TL;DR

Principal Process Engineer (Medtech): Lead VAVE portfolio for power components in Cardio and Neuro device platforms with an accent on process optimization, compliance, and cross-functional execution. Focus on developing manufacturing processes, validating equipment, and innovating procedures for regulated production.

Location: Onsite in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, United States (minimum 4 days per week in office; less than 10% travel; requires U.S. work authorization, sponsorship available for Principal-level roles)

Salary: $125,600 - $188,400 USD

What you will do

  • Lead VAVE, RPE, and new product projects with scope, schedule, and budget management.
  • Collaborate with R&D, operations, supply chain, quality to develop and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Plan and execute process validation including characterization, OQ/PQ, TMVs.
  • Develop manufacturing equipment requirements, interface with suppliers for FAT/SAT/IQ.
  • Utilize FMEAs, statistical analysis, and quality tools for process reliability.
  • Innovate new manufacturing concepts and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree + 7 years experience, or Master's + 5 years, or PhD + 3 years in relevant field.
  • U.S. work authorization required (sponsorship for Principal-level and above).
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing, process development, project leadership.
  • Knowledge of cross-functional collaboration in R&D, operations, quality.
  • Ability to manage physical demands of office role and occasional travel.
