What you will do

• Own preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and workpapers for monthly close, focusing on revenue, accounts receivable, customer on account, and security deposits.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline monthly close processes using ERP systems.
• Conduct fluctuation and variance analysis with insightful explanations for accurate financial results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
• Assist with annual audits, tax compliance, internal controls documentation, and strategic projects.
• Drive process improvements and AI automation within the Accounting Team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation (or working towards) strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience; Big 4 audit/tax and industry experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, financial analysis, and reporting skills.
• Advanced Excel (XLOOKUP, PivotTables, Dynamic Arrays, Power Query preferred).
• Experience with enterprise software like NetSuite, Oracle, or Workday preferred.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, excellent communication, and ability to meet deadlines.
