What you will do

• Design, test, and implement secure security software and hardware including firewalls, IPS, PKI, VPN, and IAM
• Develop security standards, policies, procedures, and conduct risk assessments
• Define and lead end-to-end security architecture for cloud infrastructures like AWS and Azure
• Create incident response plans and ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and other standards
• Mentor security professionals and collaborate with IT/engineering teams to build security-conscious culture

Requirements

• MUST HAVE: PMP and CISSP certifications
• Experience in ITIL4 highly recommended
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance may be mandatory
• Located in or around Washington DC area highly preferred due to occasional on-site requirements
• Deep understanding of network protocols, cryptographic technologies, and security monitoring tools
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional influence skills
