Salary: $190,000 - $230,000

What you will do

• Own CMMC 2.0 and SOC 2 end-to-end, including control design, evidence collection, and audit coordination.
• Maintain and evolve security policies and standards aligned with DoD and federal requirements.
• Lead IT architecture, tooling decisions, and vendor management for MSPs and cloud providers.
• Oversee access control, identity management, and incident response processes.
• Partner with leadership to assess and manage organizational IT and security risk.
• Mentor and support the IT Support Specialist and Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Direct ownership of CMMC 2.0 readiness/implementation or SOC 2 audits (Type I or II).
• Experience operating in government contracting, defense, or highly regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, IAM, and cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
• Must be a US Citizen working from within the United States.

Nice to have

• Prior experience supporting DoD programs or federal contracts.
• Active or previously held security clearance.
• Experience scaling IT/security functions for teams of 30–50 employees and above.
