Head of Internal Audit: Developing and leading large portfolio of audit activity for hirify.global's complex technology infrastructure and transformation programs with an accent on IT platforms, digital products, and organisational change. Location: London or Birmingham, UK. Flexible working can be discussed.

Salary: Up to £130,000 plus LW depending on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Lead Audit & Assurance strategy and end-to-end audit activity for a business area, managing large portfolio to performance standards.
• Guide senior management on assurance priorities, represent team at governance forums like Risk Committees.
• Commission and oversee third-party providers, manage external spend budget.
• Manage team of qualified audit staff, foster high-performance culture.
• Support Director of Internal Audit in strategy delivery, align with hirify.global objectives using industry best practices.

Requirements

• Track record developing audit teams and delivering plans in large organisations.
• Experience conducting and managing audits across financial, operational, compliance, IT, and change domains.
• Professional credentials such as IIA, CISA, ACA, or CIMA.
• Deep expertise in internal audit practices across multiple domains.
• High digital and IT awareness for audit automation and technology adoption.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex issues and influence stakeholders.
