Security Systems Solutions Engineer

Location: Remote; Los Angeles, California. Regional travel of approximately 15% is required.

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year.

What you will do

• Research, evaluate, select, implement, upgrade, and migrate enterprise security technologies.
• Architect, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations across access control, video management, visitor management, and enterprise systems.
• Design and manage ETL workflows that transform security data into business intelligence insights.
• Identify and deploy automation to eliminate repetitive processes and improve security program efficiency.
• Provide technical support for cloud-based security applications, including maintenance, backups, firmware updates, log monitoring, and root cause analysis.
• Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and training materials while coordinating with Security Operations, IT, Engineering, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience programming and administering enterprise-wide physical security systems, including large-scale, multi-site deployments.
• 3+ years of experience integrating security systems across multiple platforms and technologies, including API-based integrations and data exchange workflows.
• Genetec Synergis SC-STC-001 and/or SC-ETC-001 certification.
• Experience supporting or leading enterprise-wide access control, video management systems, visitor management, and related security applications.
• Experience with cloud-based camera analytics and emerging AI-driven security technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent technical projects with minimal supervision and deliver them on time and within scope.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Technical degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, and/or relevant industry certifications.
