What you will do

• Evolve orchestration engine for unified management of clusters, containers, and VMs
• Optimize bin packing algorithm for maximum utilization, performance, and cost efficiency
• Integrate with networking layer to enable scale-to-zero for on-demand workloads
• Build Golang/Rust GRPC services supporting tens of thousands of users
• Define immutable infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible for tear-down, failover, and reconstitution
• Write Engineering Requirement Documents from idea to implementation and monitoring
• Interface with TypeScript/GraphQL edge to expose microservice APIs

• Strong understanding of distributed systems for building fault-tolerant, resilient, scalable services
• Intuition for solution longevity in fast-growing startups
• Ability to implement solutions, create monitors for error boundaries, and document requirements
• Direction and prioritization skills in ambiguous early-stage environments
• Grit to dive into problems, scale solutions, and replace when needed
• Strong communication skills for implementation and collaboration
