Lead Assessor ISO/FSSC 22000 and QSE

Location: France, with the role based near Lyon or Paris and travel throughout France

What you will do

• Conduct independent audits and assessments of food safety and quality management systems.
• Evaluate management system implementation across food manufacturing, processing, and supply chain organizations.
• Assess compliance with ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and accreditation requirements.
• Identify opportunities for continual improvement and help clients strengthen food safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Provide expert guidance, develop client relationships, and contribute to the growth of assurance services.
• Deliver approximately 180 chargeable days per year, working independently or as part of an audit team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in food industry processes or technology.
• At least 2 years of experience in food production and technology, with experience in quality management and food safety.
• Qualification for auditing IFS Food and BRC Food standards.
• Qualification or experience covering dairy products, meat, bakery, drinks, and oils or fats.
• Good command of English and French at level C in written and spoken communication.
• Located near Lyon or Paris and able to travel throughout France.
