What you will do

• Perform planned and reactive mechanical maintenance, including fault finding and diagnosis via computerized systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues independently or as part of a team.
• Address production unit breakdowns promptly to ensure minimal operational disruption.
• Execute preventative planned maintenance tasks to maintain equipment reliability.
• Operate under the Permit to Work system, ensuring strict adherence to safety and compliance.

Requirements

• Time-served Mechanical Engineer certification.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience in continuous process environments involving furnaces, rolling mills, gearboxes, motors, and pumps.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as IPAF, BAA, Gas, or FLT.
• Background in factory or industrial environments.
