Mechanical Maintenance Tech (Industrial): Diagnosing, fault finding and repair of medium/heavy industrial plant and machinery with an accent on preventative maintenance checks and implementing modifications for reliability and efficiency. Focus on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, maintenance of rotating machinery, and ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation.

Location: Bishopstoke / Eastleigh, UK (onsite, based at production facility in Chickenhall Lane, Eastleigh, SO50 6YU)

What you will do

• Work to site Health & Safety and Environmental legislation.
• Diagnose, fault find and repair medium/heavy industrial plant and machinery.
• Complete preventative maintenance checks and inspections.
• Develop and implement modifications to improve reliability and efficiency of plant and machinery.

Requirements

• Time served qualified industrial maintenance mechanical fitter/technician.
• BTEC NVQ or equivalent qualification in mechanical maintenance.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic fault-finding.
• Maintenance of rotating machinery.
• Self-starter, proactive, able to work without direct supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, work well under pressure, team player.

Nice to have

• Machining and welding experience.
