TL;DR

Tuner (Weaving): Set up weaving machinery according to work tickets and specifications with an accent on maintenance, repairs, and quality standards. Focus on addressing malfunctions promptly, performing manual handling tasks, and keeping machines running efficiently to meet production output.

Location: Onsite in Scottish mills, UK. Must provide evidence of right to work in the UK.

Salary: From £15/hour (+ shift allowance, higher for experience)

What you will do

• Set up weaving machinery based on work tickets and product specifications
• Maintain and repair machinery, fixing malfunctions promptly
• Ensure products meet quality standards while achieving production output
• Perform manual handling including heavy lifting
• Support production plan by keeping machines efficient

Requirements

• Experienced Loom Tuner
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
• Strong mechanical aptitude to learn, operate, and maintain machinery
• Good colour vision and keen eye for detail
• Team player with good communication skills
• Able to work to deadlines on three-shift rotation (early, late, night)
