What you will do

• Monitor and manage daily customs and import/export operations to ensure legal and timeline compliance.
• Develop KPIs to monitor performance and implement corrective actions based on company targets.
• Oversee compliance for trade programs including IMMEX, PROSEC, REGLA OCTAVA, CIVA, OEA, and CTPAT.
• Design and implement the department's strategic plan aligned with business objectives.
• Coordinate and participate in government audits with SAT, Ministry of Economy, and Customs.
• Identify operational and compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of managerial experience in foreign trade or customs compliance, specifically within the Automotive Industry.
• Proven experience in managing government audits and regulatory inspections.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican trade and customs law and international treaties.
• English: C1 (fluent in speaking, reading, and writing).
• Strong analytical skills and experience in team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Availability to travel.
