Location: Remote in the US or EMEA (all team members are remote but regular in-person collaboration travel supported)

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, secure infrastructure deployable across multiple clouds (AWS, Azure, OCI) and contexts (SaaS, on-prem).
• Tune and optimize cloud services in compute, storage, networking, and observability for performance and reliability.
• Develop core services in TypeScript, Kotlin, Go to meet deployment and infrastructure needs.
• Build and support large-scale event-driven systems.
• Own end-to-end problem-solving from design, deployment, to production support.
• Partner with engineers, AI and security researchers to enable high-velocity development.
• Implement disaster recovery and business continuity for resilience.

Requirements

• Remote in the US or EMEA
• Strong experience building and operating scalable distributed cloud systems (AWS or similar).
• Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CDK).
• Event-driven architectures, message queues, async workflows (e.g., Kafka).
• Track record in performance tuning across cloud services, databases, compute.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, navigating ambiguity in fast-paced startup.

• Deploying to multiple environments (SaaS, on-prem) and resilient multi-env systems.
• Modern observability (logs, metrics, tracing).
• Early-stage startup experience.
• Building developer tooling or security products.
