Software Engineer - Console (Fullstack): Design and implement end-to-end features across React frontends, TypeScript APIs, and backend services in Kotlin and Go deployed on AWS with an accent on scalable systems, seamless integration, and production reliability. Location: Remote (targeted at Europe or US East Coast; all team remote but regular in-person meetings with travel support)

Compensation: $100K – $350K (offers equity)

What you will do

• Design and build full-stack systems integrating frontend and backend seamlessly
• Develop scalable APIs and backend services in TypeScript, Kotlin, and Go
• Deploy and operate services on AWS and other cloud providers
• Own end-to-end problems from design through deployment and production support
• Navigate ambiguity and contribute to engineering practices
• Collaborate with AI researchers, security researchers, and backend engineers

Requirements

• Experience building and operating full-stack systems
• Proficiency with TypeScript
• Experience designing and consuming APIs (REST or GraphQL)
• Strong backend development experience (Node.js, Kotlin, Go, or similar)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with incomplete information
• Thoughtful communicator valuing clarity and simplicity
• Comfort in fast-paced early-stage startup environment

Nice to have

• Experience with event-driven architectures, message queues, or async workflows
• Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CDK)
• Background in systems programming, networking, or performance tuning
• Prior experience building security products
• Experience in early-stage startup
