TL;DR

Lead Assessor IFS BRC (Food Safety): Verify and assess management systems in the food industry with an accent on implementation of IFS Food and BRC Food standards. Focus on examining client systems, providing expert recommendations, and contributing to service improvements for diverse food sector clients.

Location: Must be located near Lyon or Paris, France. Travels throughout France required (180 chargeable days per year).

What you will do

• Verify and assess food management systems individually or as part of a team across France and abroad.
• Examine implementation of Food Safety systems and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Build and deepen client relationships while contributing to service development based on expertise.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation requirements and deliver excellent client service.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in food industry process and/or technology.
• Adequate experience in quality management and food safety in the food sector.
• Qualification for auditing in IFS Food / BRC Food.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in food production & technology.
• Qualified in dairy products, meats, bakeries, drinks, oils/fats.
• Good command of English and French (level C) both spoken and written.
• Analytical approach, proactive attitude, assertiveness, and strong communication skills.
