What you will do

• Perform business assurance assessments and recommend certification, deferral, suspension, or withdrawal in accordance with FSSC22000 and ISO9001 standards.
• Conduct both system-level and process-level auditing across various food product categories.
• Build and maintain strong external and internal client relationships.
• Produce accurate and insightful reports that provide real value to clients.
• Implement and adhere to strict health and safety rules and systems during all work activities.

Requirements

• GFSI standard auditor certification (FSSC, SQF, BRC, or IFS).
• Substantial experience in third-party auditing for FSSC22000 and ISO9001.
• Minimum 5 years of full-time experience in the food-chain-related industry.
• At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance or food safety functions.
• Degree in a relevant subject (e.g., general microbiology, general chemistry, or food science).
• Ability to travel extensively throughout North America and occasionally overseas.
