What you will do
- Provide legal advice to the contracts team in a fast-paced, business-facing environment.
- Draft, analyze, and negotiate commercial agreements, including processor agreements, NDAs, novation agreements, and guarantees.
- Collaborate with global legal team members and senior leadership on strategic projects and regulatory issues.
- Develop and maintain templates, policies, and procedures to address new business requirements.
- Identify and implement productivity improvements to enhance legal department efficiency.
Requirements
- Law degree from a top-tier university (specialization in business, financial services, or international law is a plus).
- At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a major law firm or in-house within the Financial Services industry or M&A.
- Strong background in commercial, contractual, and corporate law.
- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and coordinate with colleagues across South America, Europe, USA, Africa, and Asia.
