What you will do

• Lead, build, and coach the team of Trade Compliance Operations Coordinators in Kuala Lumpur.
• Personally execute trade compliance activities and routine classification based on approved playbooks.
• Manage work allocation, queues, and monitor cycle times to ensure delivery ownership.
• Enforce strict playbook discipline and perform first-line quality assurance including root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with the global Operations Control Tower for routing, prioritization, and escalation of complex cases.
• Identify recurring patterns to drive standardization and suggest improvements for data and tooling, including assistive AI.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in trade compliance, export controls, or customs operations.
• Proven experience in people leadership combined with a hands-on execution background.
• Practical understanding of classification execution and documentation discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, law, or international trade.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
