What you will do

• Design and develop features for the AWS Networking software stack on Nitro Cards.
• Optimize packet delivery, bandwidth utilization, and tail latency using the SRD protocol.
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware partners to define programmable SW/HW interfaces.
• Integrate ENA Express features into the broader EC2 platform and AWS networking ecosystem.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and lead technical design reviews.
• Drive operational excellence through observability and lead incident response efforts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• Strong background in systems programming using C/C++ in performance-critical production environments.
• Valid US work authorization and ability to work in Cupertino, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Linux OS, network troubleshooting, and protocols such as DNS, DHCP, and TCP.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (Hypervisors, VMware, Xen).
• Experience defining HW/SW interfaces, including control/status registers and error handling.
