What you will do

• Lead multiple software engineering teams developing the Lodging Booking Platform to ensure global scalability and performance.
• Define and drive the technical vision and roadmap, including system design, API design, and data modeling.
• Establish and enforce engineering best practices for coding, testing, observability, and security.
• Partner with product and architecture stakeholders to deliver cross-domain initiatives and enable service reuse.
• Mentor and grow a high-performing engineering organization through coaching and strategic hiring.
• Integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions to improve booking outcomes and development workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Extensive professional experience leading engineers in delivering complex, distributed backend systems.
• Proven track record of owning end-to-end delivery and operations of critical multi-service platforms.
• Strong technical depth in modern programming languages and cloud-native technologies.
• Ability to align engineering execution with business priorities and manage complex trade-offs.
• Must be based in Austin, Texas.
