What you will do

• Design and implement advanced deep learning architectures to enhance ADAS perception capabilities.
• Optimize model performance for latency, efficiency, and resource utilization for real-time embedded deployment.
• Perform root cause analysis of production issues and develop sustainable, high-quality solutions.
• Integrate and validate deep learning algorithms on automotive-grade hardware and embedded SoCs.
• Collaborate with data engineering, annotation, and platform teams to ensure seamless model integration.
• Provide technical reports on model development, maintenance, and performance metrics to management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience developing and deploying deep learning perception models for ADAS or computer vision.
• Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Computer Vision, Robotics, Machine Learning, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and deep understanding of software design principles.
• Expertise in PyTorch or TensorFlow for large-scale model development.
• Practical experience with data pipelines, distributed training, and ML experiment management tools.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Mountain View, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience optimizing models for embedded SoCs like NVIDIA Drive, TI TDA4, or Qualcomm Snapdragon.
• Proficiency in quantization, pruning, and knowledge distillation.
• Programming experience in C++ within Linux development environments.
• Familiarity with automotive perception datasets and frameworks (e.g., KITTI, Waymo, Euro NCAP).
• Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence.
