What you will do

• Develop, characterize, and optimize image-processing and computer-vision algorithms for semiconductor wafer inspection.
• Analyze large-scale inspection datasets to identify root causes and recommend corrective algorithm actions.
• Design and implement enhancements to improve detection accuracy, throughput, and production stability.
• Develop prototypes using Python and MATLAB and transition them into production-quality software.
• Apply machine learning and deep learning approaches to improve inspection and image-analysis performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve critical customer issues and accelerate volume ramp activities.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field with 1+ years of industry experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of industry experience.
• Strong foundation in image processing, computer vision, pattern recognition, and signal processing.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and C++.
• Experience with ML/DL frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with GPU acceleration, CUDA, and high-performance computing techniques.
• Must be based in or able to work from Milpitas, CA.
