What you will do

• Develop the onboard perception stack, fusing camera, lidar, and radar data for object detection, tracking, and precision landing.
• Design and implement deep-learning and classical computer vision algorithms for real-time, embedded deployment.
• Perform sensor calibration and multi-sensor fusion across camera, lidar, and radar.
• Optimize perception algorithms for real-time performance on embedded compute.
• Analyze test data to characterize and improve perception performance.
• Collaborate with navigation, controls, and hardware teams to integrate perception outputs.

Requirements

• Strong background in computer vision and/or machine learning with a technical degree.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Experience with deep-learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorRT) and classical CV (OpenCV).
• Experience processing lidar and/or radar point-cloud data.
• Experience with sensor calibration and multi-sensor fusion.
• Demonstrated ability to take algorithms from concept through real-time, embedded deployment.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying perception models on NVIDIA Jetson / CUDA-based embedded platforms.
• Experience with precision or automated landing systems.
• Background in subscale aircraft, robotics, or vehicle perception.
