What you will do

• Manage and develop a team of data scientists focusing on customer risk profiling, anomaly detection, and risk automation across regions.
• Develop and drive the risk data science strategy aligned with business goals including revenue, margin, and compliance.
• Partner with data engineering to modernize infrastructure, reduce tech debt, and build scalable pipelines.
• Establish and communicate policies and standards for risk tolerance, profiling, and mitigation actions.
• Quantify the commercial impact of analytical work by connecting models to revenue and customer outcomes.
• Serve as the primary risk data science partner to Risk Operations, Trading, Product, and Compliance teams.

Requirements

• Significant experience in the sports betting or online gambling industry.
• Proven experience leading data science or analytics teams (5+ reports) with a strong technical background.
• Proficiency in statistical modeling, machine learning, and computer science.
• Experience with Databricks, Python, SQL, and modern data science tooling.
• Experience with customer profiling, segmentation, automation, or fraud detection.
• Must be based in or able to work from Jersey City (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Experience working with live sports data.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across Trading, Product, Tech, and Compliance leadership.
