Salary: $131,010 - $196,300 per annum

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain Windows kernel-mode and user-mode device drivers using KMDF/UMDF.
- Implement drivers for USB, PCIe, or custom hardware interfaces.
- Debug complex kernel-mode issues including crashes, memory corruption, race conditions, and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, firmware, and validation teams to bring up new devices.
- Ensure drivers meet Microsoft WHQL / HLK certification requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and define driver development best practices and automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Windows system or driver development.
- Strong expertise in C/C++ for low-level systems programming.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Driver Kit (WDK), KMDF, and UMDF.
- Proficiency with driver debugging tools such as WinDbg / KD and crash dump analysis.
- Must be eligible to access export-controlled information as defined under U.S. export control laws (EAR).
Nice to have
- Experience with PCIe, USB, NVMe, or networking drivers.
- Familiarity with FPGA, firmware, BIOS, or UEFI interactions.
- Knowledge of Windows security concepts, including driver signing and secure boot.
- Exposure to Linux kernel development.
