TL;DR

Software Engineer II (Fullstack): Developing full-stack features to improve how members discover and engage with mental healthcare services with an accent on registration, authentication, onboarding, and provider matching. Focus on building scalable services using Ruby on Rails and React to optimize the top-of-funnel user journey.

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA (2-3 days per week in office). Must be based in the San Francisco metro area or able to relocate independently within 90 days of start date.

Salary: $138,000 - $161,000

What you will do

  • Design and build scalable full-stack and front-end services using Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship high-impact features that improve the top-of-funnel experience.
  • Expand and maintain existing web applications, infrastructure, and GraphQL APIs.
  • Debug production issues and participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system reliability.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions, code reviews, and tech debt prioritization.
  • Work with product managers and designers to deliver 0-1 product features.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in software development with a focus on full-stack or front-end development.
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, or React.
  • Experience designing and maintaining GraphQL APIs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment within Agile teams.
  • Must be based in the San Francisco metro area or relocate independently.

Nice to have

  • Experience with growth initiatives, authentication, or registration flows.
  • Experience working in a healthcare or mental health tech environment.
