Electronic Systems Verification & Validation Senior Engineer (Embedded/C++): Leading lab-based testing and validation of embedded software for heavy machinery with an accent on Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) methodologies. Focus on developing SIL test strategies, architecting modular software features, and integrating tests into CI/CD/CT pipelines.

Location: Onsite five days a week in Mossville, IL. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is NOT available.

What you will do

• Develop and execute Software In-the-Loop (SIL) test strategies for subsystem controls and software.
• Standardize SIL infrastructure and frameworks to drive consistent process adoption across teams.
• Create SIL regression test plans and develop GoogleTest scripts.
• Integrate SIL testing into CI/CD/CT pipelines and drive AUTOSAR readiness and Tech Platform conformance.
• Lead a team of 4-6 members and collaborate with global teams to deliver software validation results.
• Provide project management support by defining scope, schedules, and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Demonstrated experience in software development or validation.
• Strong expertise with Software In-the-Loop (SIL) and architecting modular software features.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Simulink Autocoding.
• Experience with CI/CD/CT pipelines and software versioning control frameworks.
• Must be based in or relocate to Mossville, IL; onsite presence required 5 days a week.
