What you will do

• Provide technical leadership to guide strategic customers through the design and implementation of big data projects.
• Architect production-level data pipelines, including end-to-end load performance testing and optimization.
• Act as a deep go-to expert in specialized areas such as data lake technology, streaming, or big data ingestion.
• Support Solution Architects with advanced technical sales, custom proof of concepts, and workload sizing.
• Create tutorials, conduct training, and contribute to the hirify.global community through hackathons and conferences.

Requirements

• Fluent-proficiency in English and Portuguese or Spanish.
• 7+ years of experience in a technical role specializing in Software or Data Engineering.
• Expertise in building big data pipelines and using technologies like Spark Streaming and Kafka.
• Experience migrating Hadoop workloads to public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Production programming experience in SQL and Python, Scala, or Java.
• 2+ years of customer-facing experience in pre-sales or post-sales roles.

Nice to have

• Expertise with cloud data lake technologies such as Delta and Delta Live.
• Experience building data applications for risk modeling, fraud detection, or customer life-time value.
