System Administrator (AWS)

TL;DR

System Administrator (AWS): Leading the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical web-based tools within classified AWS environments (C2S/C2E) with an accent on secure application architecture and SecDevOps. Focus on integrating relational/NoSQL databases, implementing stringent compliance standards, and ensuring high system reliability.

Location: Chantilly, VA (Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required)

What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle design, development, and deployment of web-based tools in classified AWS environments.
• Implement resilient and compliant application architectures meeting federal regulatory requirements.
• Oversee coding standards, perform code reviews, and lead QA practices across the development team.
• Integrate APIs, relational databases, and NoSQL solutions to deliver functionality for non-technical users.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Program Managers to ensure A&A expectations are met.
• Optimize system reliability and situational awareness using Splunk and Elastic Search.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree + 3 years or HS diploma + 5 years of combined IT experience in systems administration, development, or cybersecurity.
• 2+ years of experience in Sponsor System Administration.
• 3+ years of experience in the design and deployment of applications on classified IC systems.
• 4+ years of experience with Sponsor's AWS environments (C2S or C2E).
• Expertise in SecDevOps, CI/CD, and object-oriented programming languages.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile requirements management and sprint planning.
• Master’s Degree in a technical discipline.
• Security+ or CISSP certification.
