DevOps Team Lead (Cybersecurity)

DevOps Team Lead (Cybersecurity): Leading the deployment and orchestration of FedRAMP authorized identity and security products with an accent on secure operations in highly regulated federal environments. What you will do

• Lead and improve build/release pipelines and GitOps workflows within the FedRAMP boundary.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance management for a team of DevOps engineers.
• Architect and operate Azure Government Cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Manage AKS clusters with Istio, secure networking, and Zero Trust models (PIM/RBAC).
• Maintain compliant CI/CD pipelines and documentation aligned with FedRAMP controls.
• Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams on POA&M work and annual assessments.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience with 2+ years in engineering leadership.
• Prior experience working in FedRAMP Moderate or High environments.
• Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Proficiency with Terraform/Terragrunt, AKS, Helm, Istio, Argo CD, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of NIST 80053 and federal security controls.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zero Trust architecture, PIM, and RBAC.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Familiarity with Kafka, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Azure API Management, Logic Apps, and Cosmos DB performance tuning.
