DevOps Engineer (Cybersecurity): Building and expanding global infrastructure footprint across multi-cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, OCI) to support the NGSIEM FrontTier Expansions team with an accent on scalability and operational excellence. Focus on orchestrating LogScale fleets, automating deployment patterns, and ensuring reliability for systems processing trillions of events daily.

Location: Hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site from the Austin, TX Office

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and implement infrastructure across AWS, GCP, OCI, and managed datacenters.
• Create standardized patterns and frameworks for deploying services across diverse cloud providers.
• Monitor and maintain high-scale infrastructure processing trillions of events daily using SLIs.
• Develop automation tools, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines for platform components.
• Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot applications in Kubernetes clusters across various environments.
• Participate in a global on-call rotation to ensure production stability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with large-scale, business-critical Linux-based environments.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or OCI).
• Proficiency in Kubernetes production environments and Infrastructure as Code (Chef, Ansible).
• Strong scripting and programming skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, and Bitbucket.
• Must be based in or able to work from Austin, TX for hybrid on-site requirements.

Nice to have

• Cloud (AWS, GCP, OCI) or Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD, CKS) certifications.
• Experience with Kafka, LogScale/Humio, or distributed streaming platforms.
• Knowledge of SRE best practices, including SLOs and chaos engineering.
• Experience with observability platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
