What you will do

• Deploy new Cisco ACI fabrics, including spine-leaf topology and APIC controllers.
• Define and implement ACI policies, tenants, VRFs, bridge domains, and contracts to meet business objectives.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and hands-on training to junior engineers and operations staff.
• Integrate ACI with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud environments.
• Monitor ACI health and resolve complex issues using Nexus Dashboard and Catalyst Center.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and provide Tier-4 off-hour support for maintenance and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• US Citizenship or Green Card Holder (No sponsorship/OPT)
• 7+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 5 years focused on Cisco ACI.
• Expert-level knowledge of Cisco ACI architecture, APIC controllers, and Nexus 9000 series switches.
• Strong understanding of network protocols including BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, MPLS, and the TCP/IP stack.
• Proven experience in mentoring technical teams and creating detailed physical and logical network diagrams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Cisco certifications such as CCNP Data Center or CCIE Data Center.
• Experience with ACI Multi-Site Orchestrator, Nexus Dashboard, and Catalyst Center.
• Proficiency in automation tools, specifically Ansible and Python scripting.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines for network automation.
• Experience with firewalls and load balancers.
