Salary: $174,000 - $248,000 per year

What you will do

• Own and deliver the Fusion roadmap, shipping features such as SQL comprehension, compute, and governance.
• Define requirements for Fusion features that integrate with the dbt platform to unlock enterprise value.
• Manage the Fusion engineering team's alignment and execution on a predictable cadence.
• Contribute hands-on to dbt Core and Fusion codebases through code reviews and small feature implementations.
• Collaborate with OSS strategy leads and platform PM peers to deliver a unified product roadmap.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of product management experience in technical domains like developer tooling, data platforms, or open source software.
• Strong grasp of system architectures, specifically for local deployments and enterprise scaling.
• Understanding of how open source investments drive PLG growth and product strategy.
• Ability to translate technical features into revenue and growth metrics.
• Experience working with engineering teams to prioritize and ship complex technical features.
• Must be based in the US to be co-located with the Fusion engineering team.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks.
• Background in plugin architectures, extensibility systems, or platform ecosystems.
• Understanding of PLG motions and freemium-to-paid conversion strategies.
• Experience with SQL engines, query optimization, or compute systems.
• Prior experience as an engineer working with React, TypeScript, or Python.
