What you will do

• Design multi-step agentic workflows using LangGraph and LangChain, including state machines, tools, and observability.
• Build and optimize RAG pipelines covering ingestion, chunking, embeddings, and vector DB indexing (Pinecone, Milvus, FAISS).
• Productionize AI services on Google Vertex AI using GKE, Docker, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop full-stack applications with React/Next.js frontends and Python (FastAPI) or Node.js backends.
• Define and automate GenAI evaluation frameworks to measure relevance, faithfulness, and hallucination rates.
• Implement security and governance controls, including PII detection, prompt hardening, and audit logging.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of software engineering experience, with 3-5+ years specializing in applied ML/GenAI production systems.
• Expertise in LangChain and LangGraph for building complex autonomous agents.
• Hands-on experience with Google Vertex AI (Endpoints, Pipelines, Vector Search, Model Garden).
• Strong proficiency in RAG implementation, hybrid retrieval strategies, and vector databases.
• Proficiency in Python (FastAPI), Node.js, and React/Next.js.
• Must be based in Charlotte, NC.
• Must be willing to work on W2 contract only (No C2C).

Nice to have

• Experience with Knowledge Graphs (RDF/OWL) and tool-former/agent patterns.
• Knowledge of LLM serving, routing, and Guardrails.
• Experience with LlamaIndex and structured RAG (SQL/Graph RAG).
