TL;DR

Technical Project Manager III (Aerospace): Planning and monitoring test campaigns for manufacturing and qualifying flight avionics hardware for the New Glenn launch vehicle with an accent on rate manufacturing improvements and program scheduling. Focus on building stakeholder relationships, managing project scope, and ensuring high-quality delivery of orbital flight hardware.

Location: Space Coast, FL. Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident (Green Card), or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee.

What you will do

  • Plan and monitor projects and test campaigns focused on manufacturing rate improvements.
  • Support the development and operations of the New Glenn heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle.
  • Manage project requirements, priorities, scope, schedules, and costs within a development environment.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Responsible Engineers, Integrated Product Teams, and technicians to ensure safe and robust avionics.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
  • 4+ years of experience managing projects/programs including scope, schedule, and cost.
  • Demonstrated experience with rate manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with P6 Primavera, MS Project, or similar scheduling software.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required for export control compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in engineering, business, or project management.
  • 6+ years of experience in an operations environment.
  • Experience with aerospace qualification test programs and orbital launch vehicle development.
  • PMP certification and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
  • Knowledge of avionics and electrical components such as LRUs, batteries, or data acquisition systems.
