Inventory Analyst

TL;DR

Inventory Analyst (Supply Chain): Executing daily systems operations for inventory movements, monitoring stock levels, and generating forecasts within collaborative demand planning with an accent on tactical reporting and ad hoc analysis of critical SKUs. Location: Works From Home, Charlotte, NC (hybrid preferred in greater Charlotte area, sensible remote options outside)

What you will do

• Execute daily systems operations and maintenance to support inventory movements
• Monitor stock levels and implement corrective actions per department strategy
• Generate forecasts as part of collaborative demand planning
• Conduct ad hoc analysis for escalated scenarios and critical SKUs
• Establish and maintain tactical reporting for business objectives
• Provide service and support to decentralized operations team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
• 2+ years in Supply Planning, Deployment Planning, Inventory/Replenishment Planning, or Production Planning
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Macros)
• Experience with large complex data sets to drive business decisions
• Fluent understanding of MRP principles and leveraging tools/processes for results
• Strong organization, analytical capabilities, and communication skills; self-starter managing priorities

Nice to have

• Demand Planning/Forecasting experience
• SAP ECC or S4/Hana
• Telecommunications industry experience
• 4+ years direct MRP experience
• Proven ability to manage large cross-functional projects
