Software Development Engineer II

TL;DR

Software Development Engineer II (Fullstack/AWS): Develop tools and applications for manufacturing automation and visual factory enabling real-time analysis and decision-making with an accent on fullstack development, IoT integration, and enterprise systems. Focus on designing scalable APIs, event-driven messaging systems, and deploying distributed applications on AWS infrastructure.

Location: Onsite in Space Coast, FL. Must be U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident (Green Card holder), refugee, or asylee per Export Control Regulations.

What you will do

• Develop tools and applications to automate manufacturing processes and standardize performance benchmarks.
• Design, implement, and deploy enterprise-scale systems and services for fulfillment operations.
• Produce user documentation for integrations between enterprise applications.
• Adopt DevOps technologies to automate software deployment and solve automation problems.
• Identify gaps in enterprise systems and create remediation plans.
• Share expertise in performance, scalability, architecture, and engineering methodologies.

Requirements

• BA/BS in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong software engineering principles and domain expertise translation to applications.
• Primary language: Python, JS, C#, or Java.
• 3+ years with React, Python, FastAPI, AWS, Spring Boot, Node.js, EMQX, IoT Core, ELB, Lambda, CloudWatch, S3, Docker, EKS, ECS, Datadog, Rancher K8s.
• Experience in event-driven messaging, APIs in production, servers/databases, SQL, version control, DevOps migration.
• Ability to take ownership, collaborate, and deliver high-quality results.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP or other clouds.
• DevOps expertise for application deployment.
• Understanding of ERP, MES, manufacturing software.
• Interest in IoT and visual factory systems.
