Senior Product Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Berlin or Limassol, or fully remote outside office locations. Relocation to Cyprus is supported.

What you will do

• Own the 0-to-1 lifecycle of new products, from problem discovery and technical specs to launch and iteration.
• Prototype and validate ideas rapidly using AI tools, scripts, and no-code solutions.
• Analyze user data and run experiments to define success metrics and iterate on product features.
• Collaborate deeply with engineering on architectural trade-offs and technical reviews.
• Identify and implement high-value AI/LLM use cases within the product ecosystem.
• Write clear, technical, and opinionated product specifications and briefs.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in product management or product engineering with strong technical depth.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python) to build prototypes independently.
• Experience with git, databases, and system architecture evaluation.
• AI-native workflow: daily use of LLMs, AI agents, and vibe coding is mandatory.
• English: Proficiency required for technical communication and documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech or other regulated industries.
• Background in early-stage startups.
• Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration or prompt engineering.
• Prior experience as a Software Engineer or QA.
