What you will do

• Lead development of final demonstrators for EU projects CoreSense and METATOOL.
• Coordinate team in Delft at Mechanical Engineering faculty and SAM|XL field lab.
• Collaborate with PI, another postdoc, and project partners.
• Perform software development and run complex robotic experiments on different platforms.
• Travel to partners for extended periods to work together.

Requirements

• MSc in software engineering or robotics, with similar skills in the other
• PhD or close to completion in Computer Science, Robotics or related
• Advanced skills in software development and ROS
• Analytical skills for complex software and demonstrators
• Academic skills to formulate and publish novel architectural contributions
• Proven ability to finish projects on time
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Ability to work in open, cooperative, multidisciplinary team
• Willingness to travel to partners for several weeks
• Experience setting up and running robotic and software experiments
