What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain PLC software using C++.
• Integrate PLCs with hardware components like I/O modules, CPUs, and memory types.
• Implement programming architectures and communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC programs and hardware to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Stay updated on PLC technology advancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics, programming, or equivalent.
• 3-5 years experience as software engineer with programming focus.
• Strong knowledge of IEC 61131 languages: LD, FBD, ST, SFC, IL.
• Understanding of electrical systems, circuits, wiring diagrams, and safety.
• Good documentation practices for PLC programs.
• Proficiency in Phoenix Contact PCWorx preferred.
