TL;DR

Education Consultant - AVID (K12): Supporting implementation of education-related services for school districts through professional development, coaching, and consultation with an accent on research-based practices, equity lens, and culturally responsive programs. Focus on designing training content, guiding coaching segments, developing curriculum, and delivering evidence-based programs to strengthen teaching and learning.

Location: Applicants should be located near or in Region 5 counties (Minnesota) and able to commute to office and region at least 7-9 days a month; occasional meetings at HQ in Staples, MN.

Salary: $66,290 - $83,700 (pro-rated to 195-day salary, commensurate with experience).

What you will do

  • Design and develop training content, run customized courses focused on specific functional areas to improve performance.
  • Guide coaching segments, implement strategies for improvement, promote communication and growth.
  • Develop, design, and improve K12 curriculum, select content, assess programs.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and continuous operational improvements.
  • Mentor, coach educators through challenges, deliver training, reports, and evidence-based programs.
  • Research, analyze information, identify process shortcomings, and address via change management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or equivalent (4 years postsecondary training + experience).
  • 6 years experience in certified K12 role, including coaching, training, or committee leadership.
  • Current K12 Education License (Teacher, Administrator, etc.).
  • Valid driver's license; ability to travel regionally 7-9 days/month.
  • 195 days per fiscal year, 40 hours/week.
