What you will do

• Design and build reliable, scalable network, storage, and compute systems optimized for cloud usage and global expansion.
• Co-author infrastructure roadmaps, setting vision for scalability, reliability, and engineering velocity.
• Lead design reviews focused on system reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Partner with engineering, security, and product teams to align infrastructure goals and ensure secure-by-default systems.
• Engage with stakeholders and customers to translate requirements into infrastructure decisions.
• Mentor engineers, advocate design principles, and explore new technologies for enhanced reliability.

Requirements

• United States only for remote work.
• 8+ years coding experience in Go, Java, or similar, with expertise in concurrent code.
• Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional efforts in cloud, compute, networking, and storage infrastructure.
• Strong experience designing distributed systems and utilizing concurrency primitives.
• Deep expertise in at least one infrastructure domain (compute, networking, storage) and hands-on with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Exceptional collaboration skills and track record contributing to technical roadmaps.
