TL;DR

Senior Principal Foundry Engineer (Semiconductors): Locally drive lead products ramp up under new technology introduction, foundry process transfers, and new fab enablement with an accent on front-end process safe launch, manufacturability, and yield improvement. Focus on qualifying and releasing processes, interfacing with customers, leading projects to timely completion, and managing process transfers.

What you will do

• Collaborate with foundries, NXP technology groups, business lines, and stakeholders to qualify and release processes.
• Own front-end process safe launch, drive ramp up, manufacturability, and yield improvement.
• Interface with key customers on critical projects.
• Lead and steer projects to timely completion supporting NXP business needs.
• Act as main decision maker on process integration, balancing technical, resource, schedule, logistics, and supplier dynamics.
• Manage NTI process transfers within foundries and NXP joint ventures.

Requirements

• Bachelor or MSc in physics or electrical engineering
• >13 years experience with front-end IC process integration in foundries’ production or development teams
• In-depth knowledge of IC devices and processes (HV/BCD and NVM a plus).
• Strong understanding of yield enhancement techniques and data analysis.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Hands-on experience leading teams in development/transfer projects or production ramp up.
• Good communication skills to influence and steer discussions.
• Pro-active, creative, pragmatic, enterprising, result-driven attitude.
• Familiarity managing/working with foundries.
